On one of the first properly summery days this year, we decided to visit the newly re-opened Kenwood House, which sits atop the glorious Hampstead Heath.

Walking across the Heath, we enjoyed a spot of people-watching and feeling that we were miles away from London.

We then walked to Hampstead itself, and wandered around the beautiful centre. We visited a church where a friend is Director of Music and caught him after Evensong:

As the sun was setting, we found some of the prettiest streets on the way home – and some dream houses! A lovely day.
